ABOUT ME

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Strategic Management with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving. My journey began in engineering but evolved into business and management, where I discovered my passion for applying quantitative methods to organizational challenges. Over the years, I have built expertise in econometrics, forecasting, market and organizational analysis, and data-driven strategy, combining academic research with practical consulting experience. My focus is on transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that help organizations grow and make informed decisions.

My Journey

_

My academic and professional journey began in engineering, where I devoted years to mastering mathematics, physics, and the logic of problem-solving. During my undergraduate studies, I was so deeply engaged with technical disciplines that I even taught advanced courses to my peers and senior students. This experience not only reinforced my analytical skills but also instilled in me a structured and persistent approach to tackling complex challenges.

As my interests grew, I explored programming, algorithms, and computational thinking. Yet, despite my technical foundation, I gradually realized that my true passion did not lie in engineering alone. A turning point came when I transitioned into the field of management during my master’s studies. This was where I discovered how my quantitative background could be uniquely applied: integrating mathematics, statistics, and data analysis into the study of organizations, strategy, and business performance.

From the very first semester of my master’s program, I was invited to take part in research and consulting projects, even being offered a dedicated office within the university to support these activities. I quickly became immersed in both academic and practical work, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application.

Two mentors were instrumental in shaping this path. One, a distinguished professor with decades of consulting experience in Iranian organizations, introduced me to the complexities of organizational behavior and strategic challenges within real companies. The other, an internationally active academic with teaching experience across Europe and Asia, broadened my horizons by involving me in research and projects with global relevance. Through these experiences, I gained not only local expertise but also an international perspective on management and business research.

Over time, I built a diverse portfolio of projects that combined academic rigor with practical outcomes. I worked on organizational diagnostics, market research, sales forecasting, customer analysis, and performance improvement initiatives. My approach has always been to move beyond traditional methods—rather than relying solely on surveys or qualitative data, I emphasized the use of validated organizational databases and advanced quantitative techniques. I have applied econometrics, time-series forecasting, text analysis, data envelopment analysis (DEA), and multi-criteria decision-making models to uncover patterns, predict trends, and provide solutions tailored to real business needs.

This methodological innovation earned recognition from professors, colleagues, and organizations alike. Projects I managed consistently delivered precise, evidence-based insights that supported better decision-making and measurable impact. For instance, in organizational diagnostics and performance evaluation, my models helped leaders identify inefficiencies with clarity. In market and sales forecasting, my analyses provided actionable predictions that guided strategic planning. In every case, I saw firsthand how a rigorous, data-driven approach could translate into real improvements for organizations.

Parallel to my consulting and analytical work, I have remained deeply committed to academia. I have authored and co-authored research articles and books and continue to develop new publications. I have also played significant roles in academic event management, from planning and reviewing submissions to organizing large-scale conferences that attracted international participation. These experiences not only enriched my academic profile but also enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.

My competitive edge lies in the ability to bridge two worlds: the precision of engineering-style quantitative analysis and the strategic, human-centered perspective of management. This combination allows me to approach problems with both rigor and creativity, ensuring that the solutions I propose are not only scientifically valid but also practically implementable.

Yet, despite my achievements, I consider myself a lifelong learner. Strategic management and data-driven analysis are fields that evolve constantly, offering endless opportunities to grow and improve. What excites me most is the opportunity to contribute to businesses and organizations in meaningful ways—helping them achieve sustainable growth, create opportunities for people, and strengthen the communities they serve.

For me, business has always carried a deeper purpose. It is not only about profitability but also about the well-being of people whose lives are intertwined with organizations. Supporting a company’s growth means supporting the livelihoods of employees, families, and communities. That sense of impact is what drives my passion for research, analysis, and collaboration every single day.
